Jean-Michael Basquiat | Andy Warhol
For the start of the Summer Olympic Games 12′, the Gagosian Gallery is honouring Jean-Michel Basquiat and Andy Warhol. The exhibition will feature a 1984 inspired painting from the Olympic Games. The collab pieces between the two artists began in 1983 and ended in 1985. The artwork borrows elements from Basquiat’s graffiti-street art and Warhol’s eccentric touch. Currently on display, the exhibit is expected to run until August 11,2012.
