On Thursday night, Texas bred illustrator Tim Doyle showed off some dope art at Spoke Art in San Francisco. Entitled “UnReal Estate II”, the screenprinter does up his pieces in the scene from various movies and tv shows. While not unique to this sphere, it is the mood the artist is able to project onto his subjects that keep his work selling at premium rates. Readers will instantly recognise places from hits like The Sopranoes, The Simpsons as well as Futurama. Giving these on set locations new life proves to be a good move from his solo show.
