Rostarr | Turbo Arena

New Yorker, Rostarr was recently headlining his exhibition opening in Mexico City entitled,”Turbo Arena” inside of Anonymous Gallery. His style can be described as being a throwback to the stop motion animation days of early cinema.
His uncanny ability to draw the viewer in with comedy and irony is a bit unsettling at first and then one gets the feeling that the chaos within the pieces are being held at bay. Rostarr-Anonymous-Mexico-AM-13This truly unique series of works get stare treatment, just looking at one of them can be time consuming. Along with this showing, there was an eighty-foot installation that stopped passerby’s in there tracks during the show. The exhibition will stay open through the end of March for readers that will be in central america.
