Global footwear brand out of Japan, RFW, marked they’re 15th year in business with a showing for the Spring/Summer 13′ release. Many of the collectives staples were, redone, or redesigned. Sneaker fiends can even cop a few of the classics from the vault, which include the Bagel, Epi2 and also Kona. Although some aspects have changed, some of the features that fans have come to love about RFW are still visible. The classic rubber outsole which runs across the medial of the foot includes a blue and red stripe that are centered about an inch and a half from the midsole. The silver eyelets are super-sized and the thick laces ensure that during lateral movement the heel is held firmly in place inside the shoe.
Capping off the exterior features of the low-top sneaker is the layered toe cap that features a dual layer extending from the tip, nearly half an inch that gives the casual runner a subdued look. The graphics that adorn the sides of these sneakers were illustrated by Nowartt, the renowned Japanese label.
