Bishop Nehru | Nehruvia

Classic 90′s instrumentals from DJ Premier, Madlib, and J Dilla give added color to the visual lyrics of Bishop Nehru’s recent release “Nehruvia”. For his precocious age, his lyrics are mature well beyond his years. The jazz infused tracks add extra polyphonic layers to the clarity of his verses. On “Misruled Order,” an exponential piano line sets the foundation for the staccato drums and the bass line.
Donning an all-black hoodie, in the video Bishop is seen tagging up a wall, dropping knowledge on the state of things in his space as well as trading verses with an assist from Que Hamilton. Rounding out the third verse, the video transitions to Nehru returning home to his room and finding a surprise waiting on his bed.
